Feeling Unsafe?

Have you been to the Emergency Room lately? Hopefully not. One question the Emergency Room staff is required to ask is if you feel at home.

The Massachusetts state Constitution does guarantee a right to be safe.

Generally people look to their family members as solid source of support. The family unit goes back to the beginning, back to Adam and Eve. It is our basic structure. I realize the family unit is under attack by the left in order to support their agenda. When the family unit breaks down the affects can be felt for generations.

Eve was made from Adam’s rib as a “help meet.” There are some who have an issue with the words “help meet.”  A woman is a helper to a man. When the word “helper” is used sixteen times in the Old Testament it is always a designation of God as One who saves, upholds, and sustains His people. There is no sense in which this word connotes a position of inferiority or subordinate status. A misuse of the scriptures has been going for thousands of years.  God has always sought to save, uphold, and sustain His people. No one needs to feel unloved or unsafe with God. On the Sermon on the Mount Jesus repeatedly showed how religious men had misused the laws of God to create a cover for their sin.

Moving ahead a few thousand years: we have leaders attacking their own people, leaders abandoning their principles and allies, and nation attacking nations. Some of them sound like they never left the elementary school playground with their bully tactics.

There are victims of Domestic Violence who can tell you about felling unsafe. You might even be able to read it on their faces. Victims of Domestic Violence often show signs of the medical condition of a mental illness early on, such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. They often have a number of other issues that need to be addressed also. They have often experienced the breakdown of the family unit as their support

Now let’s look at one of the smaller countries that are surrounded by larger countries that hate them and want to destroy them. Israel is hated by many of its neighbors; one has vowed to annihilate them. Israel is now in the process of deciding when it should retaliate against Iran. Iran has vowed to attack the US with missiles through its surrogate Hezbollah if Israel attacks Iran.  BEIRUT (Reuters) http://reclaimourrepublic.wordpress.com/2012/09/05/iran-could-strike-us-bases-if-israel-attacks-hezbollah/

If you were living in Israel or some other countries in the region you may feel unsafe right now. There are so many things going on within the countries in the region that it would be tough to feel safe right now. Christian woman in Egypt are being taken from their homes by force and sold into slavery by radical Islamists. Their family units are being ripped apart. They are most definitely victims of domestic violence without anywhere to turn for help. Women in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and other countries in the region are similarly treated. The Obama Administration has done nothing to help the women in Egypt, Pakistan, and Afghanistan or in other countries in the region while it wages a war on women in this country. These women don’t have the opportunity to receive help for the medical condition of a mental illness, for such things as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The political climate would have to change for them to receive the help they need. Until such time all we can do is pray for them.

Here in this country, thankfully, we have assistance available anytime anyone feels unsafe. Here we have help and treatment available for the medical condition of a mental illness early on, such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other related issues. Here immediate emergency assistance is available by calling 911. Some resources are available on the websites below.

A strong family unit takes work and is well worth the effort.
