Jesus Christ fulfilled our greatest need
God Honors Our Choice
We all have wandered away like sheep; each of us has gone his own way. ISAIAH 53:6
How could a loving God send people to hell? That’s a commonly asked question. The question itself reveals a couple of misconceptions.
First, God does not send people to hell. He simply honors their choice. Hell is the ultimate expression of God’s high regard for the dignity of man. He has never forced us to choose him, even when that means we would choose hell.…
No, God does not “send” people to hell. Nor does he send people to hell. That is the second misconception.
The word “people” is neutral, implying innocence. Nowhere does Scripture teach that innocent people are condemned. People do not go to hell. Sinners do. The rebellious do. The self-centered do. So how could a loving God send people to hell? He doesn’t. He simply honors the choice of sinners. from When Christ Comes
The Son of God came to earth to meet humanity’s most crucial need—forgiveness and reconciliation. There’s nothing we can do to be good enough, but Jesus lived a perfect life and died in our place (2 Cor. 5:21). If you’ll trust Him as your Savior, you will live with Him forever in heaven. You can use the following prayer or your own words:
Lord Jesus, I believe You are truly the Son of God. I confess that I have sinned against You in thought, word, and deed. Please forgive all my wrongdoing, and let me live in relationship with You from now on. I receive You as my Savior and recognize that the work You accomplished once and for all on the cross was done on my behalf. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Amen.
Interesting….I have read most of the Bible. I recall the story of Abraham and his son, Isaac, and the situation where Abraham is about to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, to demonstrate his love for Yahweh and an angel comes to hold back his hand from sacrificing Isaac. My question is this, since Yahweh is reported to have told Abraham NOT to sacrifice his son, that he did not want a bloody sacrifice but a loving heart from people…then WHY would you think that God sent Jesus, his only Son, to die on the cross for us? Why would God demand a bloody sacrifice? Personally, I believe Jesus did NOT have to die on the cross and I do NOT believe God sent Jesus to die….I think Jesus died because OF our limitations/sins because we could not recognize LOVE…we could not recognize that God wanted our love…just my thoughts…interested in hearing your response….

Before God created the earth, before God created Man, God knew that Man would sin and therefore separate God and Man. God is sinless. God can not have sin in heaven. Unrepented Sin is paid for in Hell. Before God created Man Jesus agreed to die on the Cross to pay for our sins.
Before Jesus walked the earth sin was washed away by blood sacrifices see the Book of Leviticus. This is why Abraham practiced blood sacrifices.
No more blood sacrifices are needed because Jesus became the blood sacrifice for each one of us, if we accept His free gift to us. None of us deserve or could earn His free gift of His payment of our sins.
Even today many do not recognize perfect LOVE…His Love for us..do not recognize that God wants our love and fellowship.
